YOURSAY ‘When you build a case because the accounts are confusing, it means that you should first try to understand the facts first. Don't make a fool of yourselves in court...'

CCM hopes to charge Suaram in two days

your say Tailek: Double standards. Why didn't the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) check if the accounts of NFC Corp were confusing as well?

Obviously the harassment of Suaram is because of the Scorpene submarines revelations and Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob is making sure he is a winnable candidate in Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's eyes.

Suaram, you don't need to worry even if you are de-registered because you have already exposed to the whole world the Scorpene scandal and the Mongolian woman's foul murder. Kudos to you. No matter what the government does, it can never silence the truth.

Dragon: Ismail Sabri is ‘confused' with the accounts of Suaram while the rakyat of Malaysia are ‘confused' over the urgency in which CCM wants to charge Suaram for its ‘confusing' accounts?

Tpn: When you build a case because the accounts are confusing, it means that you should first try to understand the facts first. Do not make a fool of yourselves in court where you will be ripped apart by the defence lawyers.

Remember the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) case against former Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Ramli Yusuff, where the prosecution was made to look like a bunch of fools.

Headhunter: This is intimidation and bullying that the Najib government is famous for. Shoot the messengers and whistleblowers while the perpetrators get protected by the highest office in the land.

If Najib thinks that he can shut down the Scorpene case and hope it will go away, he's very much mistaken. Going after Suaram will only draw more negative international attention to the case and himself.

Jk7462000: Let us see if those charges can stick at all.

Malaysian Down Under: Shame on you CCM, harassing Suaram like this, as the truth slowly bubbles to the surface. God, give us guidance and strength. Let your will be done. Let justice prevail.

Ksn: It is confusing because he cannot understand accounts. CCM, I am surprised. The auditors concerned were raided and they too could not clear CCM's confusion?

If their confusion is not cleared, how are they recommending to the attorney-general (AG) to charge Suaram? Hope that our courts can clear the confusion once and for all.

But how are the CCM and the AG going to make out a case if they are confused? I am confused with the all-round stupidity, including that of the minister.

Avatar1: I didn't know that confusing accounts to one layman can be a chargeable offence. From his words, "building a case" itself speaks thousand messages that there is no case and only now they are trying to find faults and mistakes to charge Suaram.

Hmmmmmmmm: So instead of clearing the confusion, you decide to charge them instead?

Mushiro: Of the thousands of companies in Malaysia, Ismail Sabri is only confused with the accounts of Suaram and he is acting with such urgency.

Are the duties of ministers only to help Najib or Umno and ignore justice that should be accorded to Malaysians? Ismail Sabri is going out of his way to be an apple-polisher.

Maplesyrup: The difference between Suaram and the other 200 companies which the CCM purportedly investigate each year is this - that the full might of the law is used against Suaram, and the swiftness of their actions.

If the 'efficiency' displayed by the authorities against Suaram is replicated across the board, Malaysia will be a world-class nation and not having to lag behind Singapore by a few centuries.

Mirror on the Wall: You are doing a very good and efficient job, Mr Minister. With swift and decisive action, you have stemmed the flow of foreign funds into the country. And I don't mean the trickle that goes to NGOs in Malaysia.

DesiKhan: Since Suaram was incorporated in 1989, why is CCM only waking up now. What happened all these years?

Just because they are exposing the wrongdoings of the government top guns, they are being charged now.

Jimmy Ng: Ismail Sabri, the rakyat of Malaysia are no fools. You insult our intelligence by the way in which you give your replies.

You are deliberately nitpicking on Suaram. Why don't the CCM investigate all the dubious accounts of all the crony-owned companies linked to BN ministers? You can deny all you want, but in the end the truth will always prevail.

T: Dear minister, the reason people were there at CCM protesting is because you choose to use CCM as a political tool.

Mosquito: So if Suaram is found guilty as charged, what is next? Does that mean the Scorpene kickback and commission deal are figments of their imagination, fabricated by foreigners led by currency speculator George Soros?

This move is to try distract the rakyat from the real issue of murder committed by two police officers who did not even know the deceased and the corruption involved. Good try, Ismail Sabri, but the rakyat is not buying it.

Anonymous_3e21: When it is involving a party deemed unfriendly to Umno, you act with lightning speed to charge them and when it involves your cronies, you will act at a speed slower than a turtle. Even my three-year-old son can spot your idiotic actions.

D4f: Confusing? Or do you need a lesson in 'Bookkeeping 101'?
