Kedah PAS will wait for the signal from party headquarters on the date of dissolution of the state assemby, said Kedah Menteri Besar Azizan Abdul Razak.

To date, the state government had not received any signal whether the dissolution would be on the same date as that of Parliament or otherwise, he told reporters in Alor Setar today.

He said the dissolution of the Kedah state assembly would occur automatically on May 5, if there was still no announcement on the 13th general election by that date.

He was commenting on the statement of DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang who said that the state governments of the opposition pact would dissolve their state assemblies on the same date Parliament is dissolved.
