YOURSAY 'When public funds are involved, you as a public servant can expect your family members to be subjected to public scrutiny.'

Leave my family out of it, Nong Chik tells Nurul Izzah

your say Disgusted: Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, is it fair that Pakatan Rakyat wins 10 out of 11 seats in Federal Territory and yet they don't get to rule or have any say in the running of Kuala Lumpur?

They don't even have a seat in City Hall's administration, and all allocations to Federal Territory and the running of FT is in the hands of the Federal Territory minister and City Hall.

Pakatan MPs are made eunuchs by a system that does recognise the people's choice. Pakatan is not allocated any funds and even prevented from carrying out their duties in their own constituencies in which they were elected by their rakyat.

Meanwhile you were not even elected by the rakyat of KL, so you are merely a usurper who talks big because the federal government gives you unlimited power and money to carry out your sabotage of the genuinely elected representatives of the rakyat.

Putrajaya will fall this time and see where you will be after May 5. Your samsengs are only good at causing trouble at incumbent Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar's ceramahs and causing havoc, nothing else.

Cheek2Chik: Nong Chik is dishonest in blaming Nurul Izzah as we all know they cannot get government funds, even if they sue for it like Sungai Siput incumbent MP D Jeyakumar did.

Nong Chik should answer why your BN government gives Pakatan MPs a pittance when non-elected BN coordinators in the same constituencies get RM1.5 million each year out of the people's pocket, and they don't even rightfully deserve it.

And he should answer why DBKL had to wait for Nurul Izzah to nudge them to do their basic duties in Lembah Pantai - isn't DBKL's failure your ministry's failure?

Truthseeker: Nong Chik is a big bully. He abuses his ministerial position to the maximum to promote his political activities and uses his groups of workers under the disguise of 1Malaysia to frighten the old, less informed and less educated aunties, uncles, the ‘makcik makcik' and ‘pakcik pakcik' in Pantai Dalam and Sri Sentosa.

Cantabrigian: Raja Nong Chik, when public funds are involved, you as a public servant can expect your family members to be subjected to public scrutiny, and you can't use the family card to protect them.

Ferdtan: Nong Chik, your daughter then was not old enough to vote but she can get a multi-million ringgit contract from the government.

Is she that smart and experienced to run a million-ringgit company? Don't fool us. We know who was behind her - her name was just being used by a 'phantom' owner.

Radio: Come on Nong Chik, your daughter really got the RM30.8 million contract from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The letter of award is online for everyone to see.

The poor working class are kept happy by your dubious handouts and their brains dulled by your persistent pestering and promises to them of a better life, which will never come.

The low-income group is easier to cheat but the middle-class voters know better than to give their votes to you.

Mushiro: A person who stands for a public post will be scrutinised in detail, so there is no need for Nong Chik to complain.

His party Umno is guilty of the many false exposure of Pakatan leaders, and I have never heard even once heard Nong Chik decrying about these. But now when it does not suit him, he wants to change the rules.

Disgusted: Raja Nong Chik, what goes around comes around. Nurul's family has taken a lot of flak from Umno-BN and its lying cybertoopers. Even Nurul was not spared of their sex video ‘fitnah'.

It's up to you to prove that your daughter's involvement in the offshore companies into which some monies from contracts have been channelled to is above board.

You are also directly or indirectly involved because of your position as a minister and her position as your daughter (you cannot be like your predecessor Umno Wanita chief Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, that she didn't know what the husband was doing).

Debate with Nurul one-on-one and prove your innocence and your charges against her if you dare, otherwise face the rakyat based on their perception that you are corrupt, just like the rest in Umno.

Rayfire: Please be a man and face the Reformasi Princess in a debate if you dare. Your whole team have been dragging her family into the mud since 1997. You only know how to make noise amongst your own people.

Anonymous #25558299: Nong Chik, Nurul would have done better if she had been given the money that you receive. Even without money, she is doing good; if she gets the money that you are getting, she would do even better.

Why cry about the allegations against your family when the whole government has conspired against her father? If you are a human being, you should realise how Anwar's family felt.

Anonymous #61972288: I have stayed in Lembah Pantai for the past eight years. I saw how DBKL sold piece after piece of land to UOA to build more and more high-rise buildings in the constituency.

You removed all the low-cost apartments housing the Malays, demolished the stalls, etc, to make ways for the likes of the UOA building.

You are a traitor to the Malays. The old folks used to be able to dig ubi for food there once, now they can only dig stones.

Jedi_Who : Nong Chik had his supporters throwing stones at Nurul's ceramah participants and now he wants to preach for her to "practise clean campaigning"?

Ghkok: He wants to help the poor by charging a 6.5 percent interest rate on low-cost housing loans?

Appum: I hope Lembah Pantai folks can see the differences in their candidates. One is a big crony towkay who is now getting into politics to reinforce and broaden his wealth accumulation opportunities (for himself and his family members), just like Kak Cowgate.

The other is a very capable young lady forced into politics to fight for justice because her father has been demonised by Umno. Now people of Lembah Pantai, which candidate has your sympathy?

Every Vote Counts: Cronysim and corruption related to family members are not personal matters. Indeed, stealing from the rakyat is a public matter.

NewMalaysia: My question is, why many still remain poor in Lembah Pantai? Is it that this only happened when Nurul Izzah became the MP there in 2008? Why does Nong Chik not mention that it was BN's policies that have made them poor all this while?

Good Men: "I was born here, I got married here and I want to die here because my love for Lembah Pantai is undivided," said Nong Chik.

But evidently you don't love it enough to keep your money here though, eh?
