Mongolian women poke Rosmah in the eye

YOURSAY 'I think it's better to deport them and erase their immigration records just in case they decide to pursue the matter further.'

Mongolian delegation wants answers on Altantuya's death

your say Anonymous #25595435: Not only Mongolians are keen to know who murdered Altantuya Shaariibuu but Malaysians too are very anxious to know who the real murderers are. Altantuya's spirit will not rest until the real murderers are caught and charged.

The Mongolian women delegates to the Global Summit of Women in Kuala Lumpur should approach PM's wife Rosmah Mansor, the organiser of the conference, to help investigate Altantuya's murder as she is representing the women of Malaysia.

A woman has been brutally murdered and Rosmah should show compassion to the dead woman's children by insisting that the case be reopened for investigation.

Kim Quek: It is a terrible indictment on our criminal justice system - the police, attorney-general, judge and lawyers - that seven years after the murder and six years into the trial, justice is still left hanging.

Besides exposing Malaysia's lack of rule of law, the yet unerased stain on Prime Minister Najib Razak due to defective police investigation and dubious court proceedings continues to haunt the premiership and shame the country.

The sad thing is that we see no prospect of freeing ourselves from this wretched stigma as long as Umno remains in power.

Mahashitla: Rosmah, if you want to be seen as the champion of women's issues, you should urge Najib to quickly see finality to Altantuya's murder trial.

It has been seven years and yet we still do not know the reasons why she was cruelly C4ed to pieces.

Is there any concern and compassion in you for Altantuya's two children and the manner she was eliminated, even from the immigration records?

Pemerhati: This whole episode goes to show that the top Umno people, just like evil dictators, can literally get away with murder and do anything they like to the people whom they do not like.

At the time of the Altantuya murder, the Deputy PM (No 2 man in Umno) and his wife were strongly suspected to be linked to her murder.

Despite that, the suspect was able to become the PM and lead the BN coalition and use the Elections Commission and the civil service to carry out massive fraud and ‘win' the 13th general elections despite getting much fewer votes than Pakatan Rakyat.

The big question facing Malaysians now is how to get rid of this BN dictatorship.

Ferdtan: The voters in recent general election were not able to dislodge Najib as BN leader, and so he will remain as PM.

So now it is up to the Umno members in the coming party election whether they still want to keep a PM who is tainted in his reputation that affected the image of the country with his alleged link to the murder of the Mongolian woman.

As this internationally known scandal does not seem to go away, now or later, Umno members must seriously think hard for the sake of the party and the government that Najib led.

Maybe Umno members can do what the 51 percent of voters who voted for Pakatan in the recent general election cannot.

EvenSteven: I believe the truth will eventually surface. Just too many people are involved in this massive cover-up and something has got to give. My heart bleeds for the family of the deceased and I pray that justice will eventually prevail.

Paul Warren: Considering two bodyguards of Najib have been found guilty and sentenced to death for a Mongolian who according to immigration records was not even here, I suppose there is an admission by the state that she was indeed here and that we did not provide her the necessary courtesy that our international passport normally request of a foreign country.

And because the state is unable to give appropriate answers as to what happened to her despite her having "not been in the country", and yet admitting that she was killed here using C4 supplied and paid for by the Malaysian taxpayers, I believe the Mongolians might just have a claim on the Malaysian taxpayers. Hmm... so convoluted thinking on my part!

Now, this must surely be more embarrassing to the nation and more damaging to the country than whatever it was that Hindraf founder P Uthayakumar wrote to Gordon Brown, the prime minister of Britain.

Maybe these women and delegation members should be arrested and charged for sedition as well. Surely this must make our beloved prime minister very uncomfortable.

Hold Awam Accountable: Phew, good thing that the Mongolian Women's Federation are approaching the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry for help only now.

If they had made their move earlier, i.e. before the general elections, it would have been really awkward for them to deal with Najib as women's minister.

Pahatian: Why is the Mongolian delegation invited to attend the Global Summit of Women? The Umno government and especially the Home Ministry, should have known this sort of thing would crop up.

Now we are in an awkward and embarrassing situation. I think it's better to deport them and erase their immigration records just in case they decide to pursue the matter further.

Chiabee2: She didn't see it coming, did she? The folly of inviting the Mongolian women to the summit in KL.
