Selangor gov't warned on use of mining pool water

A prominent DAP parliamentarian appears to have lost his patience with the Pakatan Rakyat-led Selangor government for its insistence in using water from abandoned tin mining pools for public consumption.

Klang MP Charles Santiago, who for years had worked alongside the state government and Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim in fighting the Selangor water privatisation agreements and the main concessionaire Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas), today threatened legal action against the state.
