Despite a gag order being issued by PAS to its members yesterday from talking about the menteri besar issue, PAS central committee member Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki continued his veiled criticism of PKR's proposal to replaced incumbent MB Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

Already under fire for leaked mobile chat messages in which he discussed PAS teaming up with Umno and “swatting” away concerns on non-Muslims, Zuhdi ( left ) wrote on his Facebook yesterday that according to hadith (Islamic teachings) and proper democracy, Khalid should be allowed to see out his term.

He argues that if a leader is removed in an "unusual" manner, it will create a new "chaotic culture".

"Even though there are somethings about him we like and we don't, let's be patient, as long as he is not corrupted. When the mandate is over, we can appoint another MB," Zuhdi argued on social media.

Zuhdi also took cognisance of the Kedah MB crisis that surfaced just a year before the 13th general election.

"What happened in Kedah was because we would not listen to our leaders, and were not able to be patient until election," he said.
