YOURSAY ‘If PAS can’t support Wan Azizah, it’s time to go separate ways.’

DAP opens fire on 'poor track record' Hadi

Jiminy Qrikert: It's about time DAP spoke up to put PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang in his place.

DAP should know that this time there is no turning back the clock to when PAS was a supportive partner working with PKR and DAP as one unit, committed to a common objective.

This time, PAS has crossed the line. Their treachery is unprecedented. Selangorians will not vote for PAS in GE14.

Quote honestly, Hadi cannot have total freedom and room to say whatever he pleases with impunity. DAP did the right thing to speak up. Finally.

After what PAS central committee member Khalid Samad said was the reason for Hadi submitting PKR deputy president Azmin Ali's name, I think DAP has been put in a position to have to respond.

If you recall, according to Khalid , Hadi feared DAP would have play out PAS and form a non-Malay majority government in Selangor.

That is a serious accusation that is bound to rile the senses of supremacist Malays and make Pakatan Malays become anti-DAP and anti-Chinese.

Wira: DAP leaders should refrain from criticising PAS or its leaders. Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is politically astute to behave so.

Let the voters do their job and show PAS what they think of that party today, under the leadership of a traitor to its supporters and the people.

Shanandoah: To remain with Pakatan, Hadi and PAS deputy spiritual leader Haron Din must support PKR president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and Wan Azizah only. If they cannot do this, it's best they go their separate ways.

Any other person chosen to be MB of Selangor will surely be voted out in the very first meeting of the state assembly. This is democracy.

Waktamnoko: When you divorce, or are in the process, all the dirt will be dug up. The parties in the Pakatan coalition are no different. Suddenly Hadi is the 'ruffian' although DAP was seen embracing Hadi during those good times and vice versa.

Maybe Umno was right about them being strange bedfellows. Anyway, there is nothing left to do for Pakatan other than to apply the brakes just so that they do not fall into the ravine - if they haven’t fallen already.

Multi Racial: Based on track records, Hadi should not be leading PAS. He failed in retaining Kedah. He is known to be the MB who lost Terengganu after one term.

And Ideas' CEO Wan Saiful Wan Jan could be right. Since when did Hadi raise any issue in the Parliament? How dare he question Wan Azizah’s qualifications and performance?

Pakatan-Ku: The end is near. Pakatan has to decide soon whether to kick out PAS. Meanwhile DAP/PKR must now take the opportunity to re-invent themselves.

People voted for Pakatan not because they love Pakatan but because they hate Umno-BN more. We voted against nepotism, cronyism and corruption but now we see PKR’s and DAP’s brand of nepotism, cronyism and corruption.

I have seen the video clip of Hadi's speech. There is some truth of betrayal of Anwar Ibrahim too, regarding the Kajang Move.

The same type of shit thrown by Umno against Anwar is now used by PKR’s Rafizi Ramli against Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim. If it is not broken, why fix it?

Whatever it is, let's pray the new MB will protect the RM3.2 billion left behind by Khalid. PAS cannot rule without the support of Umno and Pakatan must beware of frogs jumping over.

They need two Chinese and an Indian to have a semblance of multi-racialism in their exco. Even if DAP and PKR move a vote of no-confidence against the PAS MB, with the three frogs, PAS-Umno will win.

So beware as the temptation of ringgit is often stronger than love of democracy.

Nonono: Chill. Do not forget our primary objective which is to promote a more democratic Malaysia. If we fight among ourselves and as a result become weak and lose our focus, our nemesis wins by default.

We hope all partners in Pakatan will be more introspective and circumspect and think of the big picture i.e. to bring about a better Malaysia.

Do not play into the hands of their opponents and do not be led astray by their machinations to sow division and suspicion among the coalition partners. All Malaysians hunger for a new era and a successful Pakatan coalition.

Hearty Malaysian: PAS must clean its house, get rid of Hadi and his ulama before the supporters of Pakatan punish PAS in the next GE or even any by-election. Hadi sounds like a dictator and a greedy politician, twisting and turning to justify his hidden agenda.

Anonymous_1407579046: Can anyone trust PAS apart from a few good men in the party? Even my long respect for PAS spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat has diminished with his handling of several issues.

Aniyan: The only reason PAS won so many seats in Selangor was due to the Indians and Chinese who voted for it, hoping that they can work together with DAP and PKR for the benefit of people - not for the benefit of PAS.

Swipenter: Empty vessels make the most noise. Hadi and your syura council, please take PAS out of Pakatan. Good riddance to treachery and betrayal. A few good men and women are not going to change the inherent nature of PAS.
