A DAP parliamentarian has condemned the “cruel”, “heartless” and “sexist” remarks against the party’s new female recruits.

DAP's national legal bureau chairperson Gobind Singh Deo said the attacks on Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud, Young Syefura Othman, and Jamila Rahim for their association with the DAP are "an insult to all women".

"I think these attacks are disgraceful and an insult to women in general. It is totally unacceptable and must be condemned to the hilt," Gobind said in a statement late yesterday.
