A group of 25 prominent Malays called on Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today to show leadership in the face of intolerant voices, such as that of right-wing groups Isma and Perkasa, which have been festering for too long.
The group of former top civil servants, judges, ambassadors and scholars, said in a joint statement that it was time for moderate Malays to speak up, for extremist and immoderate voices do not speak for Malays.
