The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has urged four individuals to come forward to help investigations on rumours regarding the collapse of SK Manek Urai relief centre which was circulated on social media.

MCMC chairperson Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi said they were investigating the matter.

"Several individuals have been identified and we urge them to come forward to help in the investigations," he said in a statement.

The individuals were requested to contact the MCMC immediately and members of the public who have information may also come forward to help.
