Amnesty: Asean charter should start with Burma

The Malaysian chapter of an international human rights group today lauded Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's proposal for a people-centred Asean Charter but said it must be translated into action by acknowledging Burma's elected leadership.
