YOURSAY 'He should be commended for making millions without depositing a single cent.'
Report: Jho Low pacified Taib with 1MDB money
Louis:
Must respect this fellow businessman Taek Jho Low. He should be commended for formulating such a world-class scheme where millions could be made without depositing a single cent.
I believe he must have graduated from a top-notch university.
In future, if Prime Minister Najib Razak plans to start another investment, he must source professionals from Jho Low's alma mater. Definitely they can make tons of money without putting a single sen down.
Tell the Truth: The Malaysian cabinet is really made up of a bunch of idiots who can say the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) is above board when all they needed was to be honest enough to do an independent audit without any hindrance from the prime minister, and the crooks would have been apprehended.
Angel: Does the cabinet still think there’s no wrongdoing in 1MDB?
Vijay47: If not yet obvious to crooks past, present, and intending, what is clear from all these recent developments is that when there is dirty work at the crossroads, the truth will always somehow slip out, either from partners disgruntled over being shafted or honest men fed-up with the daylight robbery being practised by those in high places.
The good news is that Comrade Low is sinking further into the quicksand he devised and better still, dragging down Najib and now Taib Mahmud with him.
Yet it is amazing that those screaming about defending race and religion choose to be silent in the face of such monumental shenanigans. Are they hoping for spillovers from the gravy train?
Any honourable government would have by now resigned en mass and ensured that the rogues are drawn and quartered.
In Malaysia, they would be given another glorious title, like former chief judges and ex-chief ministers get. It would be fun to relook into the PKFZ scandal - Low may be high up there also.
Abasir: Going by their stupendous silence, one may conclude that all these revelations have been just too complicated for the known defenders of race, religion and royalty - Perkasa, Isma, Ismail Sabri, that fellow who was once a judge, the G100, Jais, Mais, Jakim, the prepaid Islamic NGOs, the postpaid bangang bloggers, Utusan, Umno Lama, Umno Baru, Zulkiflee Nordin, Ibrahim Ali, Chandra Muzaffar et al.
By the time they hire the usual consultants to help simplify the puzzle to enable their understanding, the scammers would be untouchable and the paper trail would lead to nowhere.
Like PKFZ, Altantuya, Perwaja etc, 1MDB will remain as yet another milestone in the country's relentless march towards being a failed Islamic state . Mahathir must be proud as 2020 approaches.
Touche: The big losers resulting from these deals are stupid 1MDB, stupid Umno and the poor rakyat.
Supercession: When is Home Minister Zahid Hamidi going to issue a Letter of Good Conduct to Jho Low, in case the latter gets into trouble? He could always hide behind the Official Secrets Act (OSA), claiming that Jho Lo is indispensable to Malaysia's national security.
Doc: Could some please check if Perkasa, Jati and Isma members are dead or what. I am shocked that these self-proclaimed defenders of the Malay race are quiet as mice regarding Jho Low's financial debacle.
Teropong Dunia: Money went in PetroSaudi from 1MDB. 1MDB got all their money back plus US$600 million profit.
On top of that, Petrosaudi money also came to Malaysia via the buyouts of three listed companies. Net beneficiary from the deals: 1MDB, Institutional, private and public shareholders of the three listed companies and also Sarawak from the USD1.6b Saudi investment into their Score projects.
Senior: Who said the full force of the law will be faced by wrongdoers?
Speaking sense: Obscene, despicable people are rewarded in Bolehland, while true Malaysians end up in jail.
Headhunter: Hello.... naughty MACC boys, where are you?
