Jho Low must be the happiest victim in crossfire
YOURSAY ‘You swim with the sharks, so why are you surprised you got bitten?’
I'm a victim of political crossfire, decries Jho Low
Versey: Flamboyant and controversial businessman Jho Low, let's not argue who's to blame, whether you're a victim of the political crossfire as claimed.
Just tell us plain and straight if all those leaked emails published in Sarawak Report are real.
Since you believe in rule of law, if what's published in the Sarawak Report, New York Times and Sunday Times are faked, why don't you sue them in London and New York to prove your innocence?
Peacemaker: Oh you poor thing, Jho Low. You swim with the sharks, why are you surprised you got bitten? Luckily, you didn't get eaten.
Caripasal: I wouldn’t mind being a political victim in this case, at least I would be a few billion ringgit richer.
Have you forgotten the billions transferred straight into your company’s account?
Whatsup: Me, too. For a few billion of ringgit, many of us wouldn't mind the political crossfire and getting that someone to dance as commanded.
But then again, maybe not because such money has to come from somewhere - the rakyat.
No, no, we wouldn't like to be in your shoes and now that the whole world knows how you 'earned' your sudden billions, you are nothing but a shame to our country. Birds of the same feather flock together.
Louis: Jho Low, you must be the happiest victim in the crossfire. Do you know the word ‘bull’? And the word ‘s**t’? Combine them and that is what you are.
FellowMalaysian: All of them say they don't get paid any fees for giving their invaluable advice, time or services.
Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi did it for free when he wrote his support letter to alleged kingpin Paul Phua's lawyers. Muhammad Shafee Abdullah charged a paltry sum of RM1,000 in legal fees for helping the government to successfully defend Saiful Bukhary Azlan in the Sodomy II trial against Anwar Ibrahim.
It looks like our leaders and those in the limelight are becoming known to outsiders as a generous and caring lot who offer their advice and help at the drop of a hat, and pro bono, too.
Jho Low is the latest. If Low gives his services free of charge, perhaps he should explain how he got himself so powerfully rich at 33?
Anon1: Jho Low, you brokered the entire deal and made a big pile of money and at the same time made government politicians look like fools.
Since you are dispensable, run before it's too late. Or go to Australia and do a Sirul (Azhar Umar).
Gen2indian: "I've nothing to hide. I believe in the rule of law," said Jho Low.
Which law, Jho Low? Everyone knows there's only one law in Malaysia and it lives in Putrajaya.
The sad thing is the country is (almost) bankrupt and all the (informed) lawmakers pretend everything’s okay.
FairMind: Jho Low, now you’ve realised that you are just a pawn used by your masters and they have no hesitation in dumping you, making you the scapegoat for their own greed and political ends.
You should now tell the truth to save yourself and spare Malaysians another economic disaster.
Anticonmen: Now Paris Hilton and his Hollywood party friends know that Jho Low, the Wharton man, and his fat-cat cohorts are just low-level brigands eyeing the coffers of Malaysians.
Anonymous_3f6d: Ha-ha-ha. Victim of political crossfire. At least he did not use BN's tagline, ‘My speech was taken out of context’ or ‘reporters made mistakes’.
Victor Johan: Humpty Dumpty Jho Low sat on the wall. Humpty Dumpty, together with Najibby, had a great fall.
All Najibby's horses and his men couldn't stop the fall. How are they going to put the soon-to-be-broken Najibby and his Rosy wife together again?
Democrat: Yeah, and the sun never sets in the west. You partied with Paris Hilton, arranged parties for big shots. Your emails told certain people not to inform Bank Negara, you used the PM's name.
You got yourself into the crossfire for profit, so face the fire. Don't cry wolf, but then again you are one.
