Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan has called on everyone to stop making slanderous remarks on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

 

"Enough of it...let the Auditor-General carry out his job and hand over the findings to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) for scrutiny before announcing the outcome.

"We leave it to those who are truly qualified and have the integrity. Let the PAC announce the outcome of the audit report without fear or favour," he told reporters in Port Dickson today.

He said this when asked to comment on the allegations made by certain groups on the 1MDB although prime minister Najib Abdul Razak had recently directed the Auditor-General to confirm the 1MDB account independently.

Mohamad was approached after officiating the Linggi 1Malaysia Internet Centre (PI1M), near here set up by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia

Commission (MCMC).

The Linggi PI1M is the first centre developed in the Port Dickson district.

To date, there are 29 PI1M in Negeri Sembilan.
