Any investigation against former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad over his recent blog posts is likely to be done "discreetly" to give the country’s longest-serving PM "due respect".

Deputy Home Minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said this today when asked on the outcome of any police investigation against the former PM.

This followed police reports filed against Mahathir over this blog posts criticising Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
