A retired Royal Malaysian Air Force lieutenant-colonel cried for several minutes when reminiscing what his son told him after he was charged with involvement in a militant group in Beirut, Lebanon, three years ago.

Mohd Ariff Abdullah, 65, found it difficult to control his tears when testifying in the High Court in Kuala Lumpur today after DPP Mohd Hanafiah Zakaria asked Ariff what his son told him when they met at the Roumieh Prison in Beirut three years ago.
