Former Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) pilot Zaidi Ahmad has been elected as Sungai Petani PAS committee member.

Zaidi rose to prominence after he was court-martialed for highlighting the Election Commission's indelible ink used during the last general election could be washed off.
