'Tonight, Rosmah and I dream the same dream'

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is relieved that Sarawak is behind him.

And he told more than 10,000 people in Kuching today that he and his wife would sleep soundly tonight - on the same pillow and dreaming the same dream.

"Just now, Sarawak Chief Minister (Adenan Satem) said to me, 'You are not alone,' and I responded with, 'I'm glad that I'm not alone'.

"Tonight, my wife and I can sleep soundly. We will sleep on the same pillow, have the same dream. We feel relieved, for it is clear that Sarawak BN so sincerely supports me. I can read the people's hearts," Najib is quoted as saying by Bernama .

According to Najib, he was the prime minister who most frequently visited Sarawak, and he never came empty-handed.

He noted that in the five years of his administration, he has approved - on the spot - development allocations totalling more than RM1 billion for various projects in Sarawak.

BN wants big victory

Speaking at the leader-meet-people session, #sarawakfornajib, at Stadium Perpaduan in Kuching, Najib also praised Adenan’s leadership.

Under Adenan’s stewardship, the prime minister is confident BN would receive a resounding mandate in the coming Sarawak state elections, which would serve as a curtain-raiser for BN's victory in the next general election.

"He (Adenan) had asked for only one term (after the coming state election); five more years of administration, not 22 years," Najib said in an obvious swipe at former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Najib said BN wanted a big, convincing win in the next general election, and after securing a victory, it would be humble.

"A bit ' eksyen ' (bragging), never mind, but not too much and be humble. Don't humiliate the people, and the people will appreciate you.

"We continue to move forward in our struggle, insyaAllah (God willing), BN will succeed in the next general election if we remain united," he added.
