The contract for the building in Kuala Lumpur was given through a quotation offer, with a few experienced companies invited to take part, Razali ( photo ) said in a parliamentary written reply issued in the House last Thursday
Following this, three offers were received by the tender board of Felda, and UDA Dayaurus Sdn Bhd was chosen as facility manager of Menara Felda, he added.
This puts the annual cost of cleaning and maintaining the Felda headquarters at RM8.16 million, Razali said.
He said this in the reply to Mohd Ariff Sabri Abdul Aziz (DAP-Raub), who asked the government to reveal the details of the contract and to state whether the contract was given through open tender.
