Pro-BN group wants S'wak Report to butt out
About 10 people from pro-BN NGO Pertubuhan Minda dan Sosial Prihatin (PMSP) handed over a memorandum to the British High Commission today, asking it to tell Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown to keep out of Malaysian politics.
"Who is Clare? She is a British citizen," PMSP Bumiputra Welfare chief Mohd Faizan Alias said after handing over the memorandum at the high commission's premises in Kuala Lumpur.

"Who is Clare? She is a British citizen," PMSP Bumiputra Welfare chief Mohd Faizan Alias said after handing over the memorandum at the high commission's premises in Kuala Lumpur.
Faizan insisted that only Malaysian citizens have the right to defend or criticise the Malaysian government.
He also questioned if similar behaviour from a Malaysian citizen with regard to British politics would be tolerated by the British prime minister.
"Imagine if we did that in the UK? You think the British PM would be fine with that?" he told the reporters present.
Faizan also wanted to know if Rewcastle-Brown's activities were another way for Britain to colonise Malaysia again.
"Are the British trying to colonise us again? They did it physically the last time but now they're doing it through a different method," he claimed.
Sarawak Report is currently a centre of attention for having published a slew of articles related to corruption involving state agency 1MDB, which is currently saddled with a RM42 billion debt.
Information tampered claim
Recastle-Brown has said the information was partly-based on documents provided by former PetroSaudi International executive Andre Xavier Justo, who worked there when the c ompany had dealings with 1MDB.
The Malaysian government maintains that the information from Justo had been tampered with in an attempt to smear 1MDB and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
PMSP president Ramesh Rao Krishnan had previously lodged a police report against Sarawak Report .
Ramesh's report was based on a video confession by former journalist Lester Melanyi, who claimed to have worked for Sarawak Report and that he was involved in fabricating information for it.
