The transfer of two senior Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officers to the Prime Minister's Department announced last week has nothing to do with the investigation into 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), chief secretary to the government Ali Hamsa said today.
“It has nothing to do with the investigation of 1MDB," he told reporters after meeting civil servants in conjunction with an Aidilfitri reception in Kuching.
The two officers, MACC director of special operations Bahri Mohamad Zin and MACC director of strategic communications Rohaizad Yaakob, reported for work at the MACC office this morning.
They were supposed to have reported for work at the Prime Minister's Department today.
Ali Hamsa said he had a face-to-face discussion with the two officers.
