Learn from Zeti, pro-Najib blog jabs MACC
An article posted on MyKMU.net has taken a swipe at "emotional" officers in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
The writer cited Bank Negara governor Zeti Akhtar Aziz's press conference yesterday, where she revealed the central bank had completed its 1MDB probe and submitted the findings to the Attorney-General’s Chambers.
"This is what the people want, carry out your investigation quietly, (with) no publicity or controversies.
"Here (in an apparent reference to MACC), investigations have not been completed but all sorts of statements are made until the people become so excited..."
Though MACC was not named, the writer said his article was aimed at a particular agency and its officers, not all of them, who are "unprofessional and emotional" when quizzed by the police.
"This agency also allowed themselves to become a political tool when it received a delegation of opposition leaders - the same individuals who incited the people to believe that the agency murdered (DAP aide) Teoh Beng Hock."

Zeti, the article noted, also confirmed that seven of her officers were called in to record statements.
"Interestingly, we didn’t hear about Bank Negara holding solat hajat (special prayers), making childish statements in the media and so forth."
MACC had previously held special prayers to seek divine protection for its officers.
The article also said that Bank Negara's investigation was not compromised despite seven of its officers being quizzed, whereas the other agency claimed its probe was interrupted when its officers were hauled up.
"It is hoped that after this, the agency would learn from the dedication and high professionalism shown by Bank Negara.
"If needed, send your officers for a course with Bank Negara on how to be true professionals. There is no need to attend expensive courses abroad."
The posting also featured an image of MACC special operations director Bahri Mohamed Zin, with his famous quote to hunt down the culprits ordering the police to probe his men.
Bahri’s team is probing former 1MDB subsidiary SRC International Sdn Bhd and the RM42 million deposited into Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s personal bank accounts.
The police had probed his officers over the alleged leak of classified information pertaining to the probe.
