S'pore diplomat Bilahari slammed for 'crude remarks'

Senior Singapore diplomat Bilahari Kausikan has been condemned for his “crude remarks” about Malaysia’s ethnic relations by Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy.

Ramasamy said Bilahari’s 3,000-word opinion piece, published in the Singapore Straits Times on Oct 6 with the headline ‘Malaysia is undergoing a systemic change that has profound consequences for Singapore’, “is outdated”.
