'2.6 stars' song is heart’s cry of suffering rakyat

YOURSAY | ‘It moves me to tears listening to it, one of the most beautiful I ever heard.’

Sad state of nation fired viral song, says composer

Anonymous 2368651442807108L: I was humming to the tune of young songwriter Amirudin Hizadin’s song this morning.

Yes, I agreed with you especially on this, “When I want to buy food and the prices have increased, I also think about what would happen if I don’t buy it. It would affect the business owner’s children, too."

This was the reason why nowadays I purposely go to different stalls to buy my breakfast or lunch just to make sure that they have business.

Sometimes I would have roti canai or nasi lemak, and at times fried kuey teow. Thanks, Amir, your song is very meaningful. Keep up with your remarkable talent.

Lamborghini: The song is the heart’s cry of the suffering rakyat.

While the PM flies around in his luxurious jet and his ministers and cronies live lavish lifestyles, the rakyat continue to be burdened by more and more taxes, tolls and duties.

Versey: Obviously Amirudin is gifted in songwriting and I sincerely hope that he will continue using this gift from God in a meaningful manner to impact the society in a positive way. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Anonymous #33227154: It's good that our youths realise the truth about what is happening to our country. I hope our future generation can right the wrongs.

Justicepls: Bravo, Amirudin. May other members of the rakyat speak up like you did and bring an end to all the rubbish that Malaysians have to endure.

Ipoh PP: This shows that most Malaysians are crying in pain. What can the miserable Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) do to alleviate our suffering?

All things have become expensive - food, transport and services. Just imagine, even the price of the humble taugeh has risen.

BR1M can subsidise you only for perhaps one month of expenses. Till the rural folk feel the pain and are able to see the light, nothing will change.

Send in the Clowns: Amirudin, what comes out from the heart is natural and will sound beautiful, like the sound of music.

The song of truth is a sad song but, take heart and be patient, happy days will soon be here again!

Song on missing 2.6 billion goes viral

Anonymous_40bb: ‘2.6 bintang bintang’ refers to the unexplained RM2.6 billion which our ‘Pak Mentari’ (PM) is involved in.

A song well-written, poetically pleading for an answer on the current darkness that has shrouded all Malaysians.

P Dev Anand Pillai: Superb, Amirudin, great meaningful song. There are many greatly talented young people out there like him who need a break in life.

That break will only come if the mind is free. And the mind can only be free if we rid this nation of thieves, thugs and barons who control it.

RM2.6Billion Duit Haram: Amirudin, thank you for the song. It moves me to tears listening to the song, one of the most beautiful I ever heard.

Your song sums up precisely what ordinary people like you and I have been going through every day.

I hope you can send a complimentary copy to PM Najib Abdul Razak for his listening pleasure.

Thus far, Najib has been listening songs of praise by his blind supporters and of course, all those beneficiaries of the 2.6 billion ‘bintang bintang’.

Anonymous_1419577444: I'm blown away by this song. Simple and hard-hitting, it encapsulates the challenges many ordinary people face.

Anonymous_40f4: The PM of Romania has resigned because of corruption allegations against him.

Why doesn’t our ‘Sapuman’ and his coterie of ministers have an ounce of shame and resign and let the rakyat move on?

Justine Gow: Pak Mentari berdiam kerana sangat sibuk mengira bintang-bintang yang hilang itu.

Anonymous 449021436089860: Syabas, creative. Keep it up. Who says Malaysians tidak ada bakat?

A sad hymn for our country, everything has gone up, even simple nasi lemak biasa sudah RM2 with suku telur rebus and satu keping timun. My grandparents had a better quality of life.

Pisasu 7: Actually, Najib evokes many inspirational songs. What a great leader, like those from North Korea and Zimbabwe.

Anonymous_1389801797: Yes, we can only keep on singing and weeping for Malaysia.
