Pakatan Harapan will announce its common policy framework and agreement at the first Pakatan Harapan convention on Jan 9, said the Opposition Leader Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
The opposition coalition, which was formed on Sept 22, was criticised for being unable to fomulate its common policy framework and agreement.
When asked if the coalition is facing difficulties in drafting the documents as compared to the one with Pakatan Rakyat, she said many issues have to be ironed out.
There were things that were not listed in the previous Pakatan Rakyat common policy framework and agreement, she said.
Thus, the new coalition needed to take all of this into consideration when preparing the common policy framework and agreement.
The coalition will hold a meeting after Parliament ends its session on Dec 3 to discuss the matter, she said.
Asked about the opposition’s failure to send a signal of no confidence against Najib when it failed to vote down Budget 2016 , Wan Azizah admitted her motion of no confidence against Najib might not see light in the Dewan Rakyat, given that the House has prioritised government business and bills.
However, she said this would depend on the discretion of the speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia.
When asked if Harapan would be able to vote Najib out given it had failed to vote down the budget, she said:
"Well, there is always hope, come on. That was budget, it is a different thing."
