Save your denial for the cops, court, Zahid tells Tian Chua
Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has responded to PKR vice-president Tian Chua who denied arranging a meeting between Nurul Izzah Anwar and self-proclaimed Sulu princess Jacel Kiram.
"There's no need to deny it to the media. Tell it to the police when his statement is taken.
"Please give a testimony and denial in court if he was not involved," he said.
Zahid also refused to retract his accusations against Chua, who has threatened to take action against the deputy premier.
Zahid, who is also home minister, walked away immediately after ending his statement, and did not entertain questions.
Earlier today at a separate function in Kuala Lumpur, Zahid accused Chua of orchestrating the meeting between Nurul Izzah and Jacel in the Philippines.
Chua then denied the allegation, saying it was wild and baseless.
The Batu MP added that he was considering further action if the deputy premier did not retract his statement.
