BN strategic director Abdul Rahman Dahlan has trained his guns on DAP and its veteran leader Lim Kit Siang this morning.

In three separate tweets, the housing, local government and urban well-being minister responded to three articles published in three different news portals.

The first to land in his crosshairs was a comment penned by Penang DAP publicity secretary Syerleena Abdul Rashid, which was published in the Malaysian Insider today.

In the piece titled 'Let's kill hate now', Syerleena said amid calls to foster greater union among citizens, there are those in top posts who continue to contradict calls for "social unification".

"We have established that spreading hate, lies and inseminating the seeds of suspicion has always been their forte. However, injecting an ever-so banal inflammatory rhetoric of chaotic and uncouth cultural traditions into society hits below the belt.

"The recurring use of hate-filled commentaries and need to instil fear in society is a calculated move aimed at distracting and dividing Malaysians by suggesting that law-abiding citizens are 'freedom-hating dissidents' threatening our values and destroying our peace," she said.

In response, Abdul Rahman said: “Can we start with your red beans first?”

The minister was referring to the alleged DAP cybertroopers known as the 'Red Bean Army'. The party, however, has denied the existence of this group.

Second on the list was an article published in FMT , titled 'Kit Siang: So long as Najib is PM, he won't be found guilty'.

The article quoted Lim's response to Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem's statement that the state BN will reconsider its loyalty to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak if he is found guilty of any wrongdoing in relation to 1MDB.

Until proven as such, Adenan said Sarawak BN will back the prime minister.

Lim, however, argued that the chief minister knows Najib would not be found guilty as long as he remains as prime minister.

To counter this, Abdul Rahman roped in the DAP veteran's son, Guan Eng, who is the chief minister of Penang.

"Going by his twisted logic, his son in Penang will never be exposed," said the minister.

The third and final article on the Twitter hit list was published in Malaysiakini yesterday and also contained Lim's remarks regarding the Sarawak chief minister.

The article was titled ' Kit Siang queries Adenan's wavering support for Najib '.

"Adenan's statement in the Sarawak state assembly is most interesting, for it is no more an unqualified endorsement but an indication of the chief minister's wavering support for Najib as the prime minister," the DAP veteran had said.

Countering it, Abdul Rahman touched on the upcoming Sarawak state election, where it is predicted that Adenan would score a huge win, much to the concern of DAP which has 12 seats.

"Expected quivering response to inevitable BN victory in Sarawak," said the minister.
