Why is PKR taking orders from PAS?

PAS upset with PKR for attending Amanah function

Aries46: The last time I heard PKR is in Pakatan Harapan. So what political ties are these clowns in PAS claiming? What exactly is happening in PKR?

Why is PAS dictating terms on whom they can associate with and why does this preposterous letter need to be discussed at its political bureau meeting and why is party secretary-general Rafizi Ramli giving it the kid glove's treatment instead of the trash can?

Soon are we to hear that Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor is sore with PKR for its coalition with Amanah and DAP? Any wonder why PKR is known as the weakest link?

It is time it got off its butt and start developing its own grassroots base instead of forever depending on DAP, Parti Amanah Negara and PAS to pull through its candidates.

Sans Blinkers: PKR, why do you want to join Pakatan Harapan if you are told by PAS to refrain from attending Amanah's ceramah? PKR has become a party without a firm direction. With each passing day, you are losing more and more respect from the voters.

Freedom: Here is where DAP and Amanah have to invoke the no more agree to disagree clause. This is clearly a violation of this clause.

PKR has to say to PAS in no certain terms that PKR has the right to attend Amanah ceramahs anywhere. If PKR cannot fulfil this requirement, then they should graciously divorce themselves from Pakatan Harapan.

Ah-hah!!!: Wah, just what does PAS think it is, a self-appointed ‘taikor’ of the opposition? Are not PKR and Amanah both Pakatan Harapan components? Isn't it perfectly fine to interact, even help, fellow component parties?

Just like PAS itself once had its members interacting with and assisting fellow Pakatan Rakyat component parties when that Pakatan was still hale and hearty.

And what about PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang and Najib Abdul Razak getting ever more ‘pally’ with each other? Not a whisper of disapproval from any PAS leader. Therefore, PAS, grow up and stop acting like a spoilt brat. Or worse, trying to emulate how Umno bullies other BN component parties.

Append: Why can't PKR attend Amanah's event? After all, Amanah is a coalition partner in Pakatan Harapan and they have signed a common agreement to work together as partners. PAS is not even a party to this partnership. PAS is a spoiler to this progressive journey to capture Putrajaya.

As always, PAS wants to have the cake and still eat it. PAS, why don't you resign and leave all your posts in Selangor? Give us a clear-cut stand on your principles.

Even if we lose this opportunity to capture Putrajaya if PAS clearly jumps away from Pakatan Harapan, we will feel happier that way. What we hate most are political hypocrites who do not have any principles in political lineage and alliances.

Narrow-minded, petty mentality of present Umno leadership

Shanafrica: It is very sad indeed how these BN politicians use their power, position and government machinery to split the people racially and religiously so that they can stay in power.

The opposition should find a better way to counter this, especially to the conservative Malays and win their heart over.

Pahatian: How I wish all Umno-BN leaders could think and speak like DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang, who has countered Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak’s comment about DAP fielding more Malay candidates.

But sadly that day will never come because they can never change or adapt to changes. They are just thinking of their own political survival but not the rakyat's. Please show them the exit door come the next general election (GE).

6th Generation Immigrant: Agreed and mostly in support of the facts, but DAP cannot just be writing articles like Lim’s to counter the Umno war machine, which just repeats and recycles old rumour-mongerings.

DAP must undertake some unique and very penetrating, noticeable and tangible actions to woo Malays publicly, loudly and officially. Even a psychological war effort may be necessary.

The opposition keeps saying the rural Malays, suburban Malays and Felda people are all blinded by Umno philosophy; this itself is a defeatist mindset. If Umno can win them over, why can't others?

These areas are where the actions are most needed as these are the people who most need to be broken away from the Umno shackles.

DAP surely must know what a hearts and minds battle is and is prepared to win over the Malays. Like it or not, politics is about numbers, the Malays are still above 50 percent of the population and DAP cannot ignore this presence.

Appum: Yes, Kit Siang, this kind of small-minded propaganda suits well the uninformed and to the kampung and Felda folks. They keep pushing on and on in order to make this point stick.

Going by the bigger implications of such low-down tactics, such ministers do not realise they are killing Malaysia's economy and image by such narrow-minded utterances.

Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak, investors can see and read, it's not DAP that is causing the problem in this country, it's the ruling government that is ruining this country.

Fair Play: Kit Siang, can't you see it? Salleh Said Keruak is outside the corridors of power within Umno. He was a nobody until he started to fine-tune his polishing skills. By giving him space, you made him into a somebody.
