DAP today clarified that Mohamed Razali Abd Rahman - who alleged that DAP is being financed by Israel - was never an aide to Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.
This comes after PAS research director Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki cited Razali to accuse DAP of having ties with the Jewish nation.
Razali was joined DAP in 2008 but was sacked in 2011 after accusing the party of being involved in a “Christian plot” to take over Putrajaya.
Razali also never held positions in DAP’s national or Penang headquarters, DAP stressed.
“We hope that this clarification on Razali's identity and status will be helpful to the media in their reporting of news, and that there will be no more misrepresentation of his relationship with DAP or the Penang CM,” it said in a statement.
