T'ganu assembly ends abruptly after no-confidence vote binned

The Terengganu state legislative assembly sitting today ended abruptly after speaker Mohd Zubir Embong was bombarded by questions on his decision to reject a motion of no confidence against Menteri Besar Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman.

"I have made my ruling, I want to postpone the House sitting till tomorrow," Mohd Zubir said before getting up and leaving the hall.

One opposition assemblyperson then heckled the speaker for "running away".
