Court sets new date for Aminulrasyid's decision
The High Court in Shah Alam here has set a new date to deliver the decision in the RM50 million lawsuit filed by family of teenager Aminulrasyid Amzah who was shot dead about six years ago.
Lawyer Latheefa Koya today told reporters that the decision in the suit against police and the government will be delivered on March 24 at 3pm.

"There were some clarifications. This is normal.
"After the written submissions, if the judge has questions, lawyers would be asked to clarify," said Latheefa who is representing the plaintiffs after meeting Justice Zaidi Ibrahim in chambers.
Aminulrasyid's mother, Norsiah Mohammad, 66, and his eldest sister, Nor Azura, 45, as plaintiffs, have named former Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar (now inspector-general of police), the Shah Alam district police chief, the IGP and the Malaysian government as defendants.
Met outside the courtroom, Norsiah said she is hopeful that the truth will prevail.
"I always pray that truth will prevail. I have made many comments in the past but now I will only pray.
"If we remember Allah, Allah will remember us," she said.
The civil suit was filed to claim damages of almost RM50 million for Aminulrasyid's death allegedly due to gunshot wounds to the head caused police negligence.
In November 2013, the Court of Appeal upheld the High Court's decision to acquit and discharge Corporal Jenain Subi of a charge of causing Aminulrasyid's death when he pursued the latter in a car chase in Jalan Tarian 11/2, Section 11, here, between 1.10am and 2am on April 26, 2010.
