Zeti refuses to be dragged into ongoing political feud

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) governor Zeti Akhtar Aziz has refused to be dragged into the current political feud in the nation.

"All I can say is I am not going to be drawn into making a political statement, I am not going to allow BNM to be drawn into politics," she told reporters in Kuala Lumpur.

Zeti was responding to a question on former deputy premier Muhyiddin Yassin referring to her in a speech he made this week, on 1MDB.

Muhyiddin claimed Zeti informed him of 1MDB's assets in BSI Bank.
