PM, don’t wait any longer, time to sue ABC, too

YOURSAY | ‘After watching the Four Corners programme, I am so ashamed of the PM.’

Extraordinary flow of funds to Najib's accounts, Aussie documentary claims

Negarawan: The ABC’s Four Corners documentary is very comprehensive and devastating to those concerned.

If PM Najib Razak does not sue the ABC, then the allegations must be true. The name "Razak" has become internationally synonymous with massive graft and crime.

The increasing level of international awareness and media coverage is a sign that the international community realise that foreign intervention is needed to bring the perpetrators to justice.

They realise that Malaysians are helpless as all the key government institutions have been compromised. The rakyat hope that the foreign investigating bodies, including the Swiss attorney-general and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), will expedite their investigations and indictments.

Only then, can Malaysia start to rebuild its economy, reputation and honour.

Anonymous 29051438068738: Clearly, enabling the departure of convicted killer Sirul Azhar Umar to Australia and then allegedly supporting him with legal aid (and perhaps funds for his son) was a bad move.

The whiff of a murderer on Aussie soil has alerted the press which correctly smelled the makings of a whodunit.

The highly respected and publicly-funded ABC (which even the political class in Canberra fears) is not likely to let this one go, especially following the way one of its own was treated by Najib's police.

So stay tuned, folks. There's more to come, especially since Australian politicians steel themselves for hard questions with elections round the corner.

Odin Tajué: First off, I totally agree with those implying that Sirul and his unlawful escapades was funded by Umno.

Ostensibly funded by Umno, that is, but more likely to be actually funded indirectly by Malaysian taxpayers.

The ABC is not a Johnny-come-lately media body that, perhaps, might just be a little less concerned with accuracy than expected. It is 84 years old and much trusted. It would not make such bold claims without sufficient admissible, copasetic evidence.

This latest revelation has added a deeper dimension to the financial rogueries perpetrated by the prime suspect and the vast sums of money he has allegedly embezzled.

Add this to the dubious manner in which at least three murder cases have been dealt with, and one can understand perfectly well why his tenacious holding on to his seat.

Gaji Buta: If this is true, then it appears there were in fact funds from Saudi royalty. However, these still sounds separate from the RM2.6 billion ‘donation’.

It also sounds like the two could have appeared or made to appear as the same, when in fact they are not. This may have been possible if the public or investigators did not have the full picture.

Mushiro: This documentary by ABC is another confirmation by a prestigious news group of Najib's adventure into 1MDB and where its billions went.

All these billions are adding up and increasing steadily in Najib's personal bank account. It appears that when it comes to cash, Najib does not trust anyone except himself.

Anona #0780: This is a total crap. The murders of Kevin Morais, Altantuya Shariibuu and Hussain Najadi have nothing to do with Najib at all.

ABC is simply taking revenge on the Malaysian government for taking its journalists to task.

Ahmet Al Tarabulshit: Well, Najib, don't tell me I didn't warn you. Arresting two reporters for asking you a legitimate question and now you are facing the consequences. More to come.

Roguekiller: Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak, what are you going to say? Why haven't you taken action to shut down ABC?

Look at the trails of monies flowing into Najib's account. This is just the tip of the iceberg as more exposes are to follow. Najib will wring your neck for allowing these exposures.

RM2.6 Billion Turkey Haram: After watching the Four Corners programme, I am so ashamed of the PM. The shocking revelation of the huge amount of money going into his account is mind boggling.

And after this shameful screening of the episode, would Najib expect the Australians to respect him?

Kenneth_2585: In any other real democratic country, such humiliating revelation, be it true or untrue, the president or prime minister would have immediately resigned in order to protect the image of the political party or the country.

Only in my dream that it can happen in Bolehland!

SultanMydin: Najib, you have failed to sue the Wall Street Journal and Sarawak Report before this and now for this latest damning allegation, you have no choice but to sue the ABC to clear your name.
