PKR tells DAP to back off, but Guan Eng keeps faith

S'WAK POLLS With less than 24 hours to go before nomination day in Sarawak, PKR has asked DAP to back out of seats that PKR originally wanted to contest in.

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, however, is confident that PKR will not nominate candidates in seats the DAP wants to contest in tomorrow.

"I will keep faith with PKR's national leadership. I believe PKR and DAP will keep our ends of the bargain," Lim said at a press conference in Miri tonight.

This comes as PKR vice president Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin issued a statement urging DAP to go back to the negotiating table.
