PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim's warning to the party to be wary of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad doesn't mean cooperation between the two should stop, a PKR vice-president has said.

"We are told to be careful on the road and that doesn't mean we should not drive. The same logic applies here," Bukit Katil MP Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin told reporters outside the Parliament lobby today.
