PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin has admitted to being "clueless" over allegations that "money and women are requested" during negotiations with the Selangor state government.

This is mentioned in an alleged leaked WhatsApp conversation, where PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli purportedly said he had received complaints about such demands.

"I am quite clueless. I need to verify authenticity of the message. I am not good with this WhatsApp thing.

"If it is true, we (PKR) will need to discuss internally," Zuraida, who is also Ampang MP, told Malaysiakini.

The alleged leaked WhatsApp conversation was exposed by news portal Malaysian Mirror.

The portal also published a transcript of the alleged WhatsApp conversation, where Rafizi also mentioned one "Kak Zu" - believed to be a reference to Zuraida.

"That's why I said I need to verify. Normally they all call me Kak Zu," she said when asked for comment.

Asked whether could recall any related advice from Rafizi, Zuraida said: "I don't know. We always discuss things. I don't remember (specific advice)"

She, however, reiterated that any truth in the allegations must be discussed by PKR.

"Whatever needs to be done, needs to be done," she added.

Malaysiakini cannot independently verify the claims made in the allegedly leaked conversation but has contacted Azmin's aides for comment.

The latest issue comes in the wake of a scathing letter from Anwar Ibrahim, where he cautioned PKR leaders about the dangers of working with Dr Mahathir Mohamad on the Citizens' Declaration.

This has sparked off speculation of a rift in PKR.
