PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim said he is healthy and will continue to fight on.

Smiling as he spoke to reporters while being escorted by guards from the Prisons Department, Anwar was seen smiling.

"Saya sihat dan akan terus lawan (I'am healthy and I will continue to fight)," he said.

Anwar was warded at Hospital Kuala Lumpur because of high blood pressure two weeks ago.

Today is Anwar's first appearance in court after being hospitalised.

One of Anwar's lawyers Sivarasa Rasiah, who is Subang MP, was earlier reported explaining on Facebook that Anwar’s blood pressure has been unstable.

"Let us all pray for him," he said in the posting.

Anwar is serving a five-year jail sentence for Sodomy II at the Sungai Buloh prison.

He was convicted of sodomising his aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan after the Federal Court affirmed the overturning of the initial discharge of the case.
