Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and Suboh Md Yasin are still directors of Finance Ministry firm SRC International.

Nik Faisal and Suboh have been at large for months before finally being pinned down for questioning by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission in its investigation into the RM42 million SRC International funds channelled into Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's bank account.

The duo make up two-thirds of the SRC International board, with Suboh as acting chairperson and Nik Faisal as executive director.

The remaining member of the board, Mohammed Azhar Osman Khairuddin, took over as chief executive officer on Sept 1, 2014.

This was revealed in a written parliamentary reply to Tony Pua (Petaling Jaya-Utara) in the March/April session.

Pua had asked the Finance Minister if Nik Faisal was still managing director of SRC International.

The MACC was last August was forced to issue a public notice seeking information on the whereabouts of Suboh and Nik Faisal, for their assistance in the investigations.

MACC director of investigations Azam Baki also sought to know the whereabouts of businessman Jho Low.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Paul Low, in a parliamentary written reply on May 19, said the investigations have been completed and all witnesses required were questioned.

Nik Faisal was reported by The Wall Street Journal as having the power of attorney over Najib's account.

Suboh was reportedly a shareholder of Gandingan Mentari, one of the firms on the SRC International money trail.

SRC International was once a 1MDB subsidiary. It took a RM4 billion loan from the Retirement Fund Incorporated (KWAP), and primarily invests in oil and gas in Mongolia.

Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali has cleared Najib of any wrongdoing on the funds channelled into Najib’s personal bank accounts.
