Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is smitten by 'The Beast', the nickname for the official car of the United States president.

"It's more comfortable than my Proton, and it feels safe because it is bulletproof," he said during a dialogue session at the Wild Digital Conference at the Le Meridian Kuala Lumpur this morning.

Najib, who rode in the vehicle when US President Barack Obama visited Malaysia, also spoke about the spaciousness of the vehicle.

"You get two other people sitting across you, and you can have an active discussion.

"Probably you can move the Seventh Fleet (in reference to the US Navy) with the beast," he quipped.

"A very lovely car. I wish I had one," he added.

The current model of presidential state car is a unique Cadillac built upon a medium-duty truck platform.

The car is equipped with many life-saving, offensive, and defensive measures as well as state of the art technological communication devices.
