Blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin has released a statutory declaration (SD) by a man who claimed that an affair occurred between his estranged wife and former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

This is after Muhyiddin yesterday said the allegation, raised by Raja Petra, was slander.

The SD was by former deputy public prosecutor Stanley Clement Augustin, which claimed that his wife Nika Gee Siew Yee had a relationship with Muhyiddin since the latter was Johor menteri besar.

The document published on Raja Petra’s blog Malaysia Today also claimed that Muhyiddin’s wife was aware of this affair and had put a ban on Gee.

The SD further claimed that Gee met Muhyiddin overseas and would receive financial and material benefit from the latter.

Raja Petra said since the anti-Najib camp including Muhyiddin had said that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak should sue if allegations of corruption against him were untrue, Muhyiddin should likewise sue over this allegation of an affair.

“The husband is telling us in that SD that this is what she confessed.

“So if Muhyiddin wants to deny this and wants to sue anyone who alleges that he is having an affair with someone’s wife then he must sue Nika Gee.

“The only way for Muhyiddin to clear his name would be to sue. There is no other way,” he said.

Yesterday, Muhyiddin denied the allegations, calling it unfounded.

“The wild accusations made against me by Raja Petra Kamaruddin in a series of entries in his blog Malaysia Today several days ago are totally unfounded and ill-intentioned.

“All the allegations are malicious slander and spread only to destroy my integrity and smells of dirty politics, what more being done in this holy month of Ramadan,” he said.

The SD, dated Dec 7, 2015, is amid divorce proceedings between Augustin and Gee.

When contacted, Augustin declined to comment.
