Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown has explained the reasons behind the whistleblower site retyping the alleged auditor-general’s report on 1MDB.

Responding to those who raised doubts over the authenticity of the report since it was re-typed, Rewcastle-Brown said it was done to “minimise opportunities” for those who want to blame the messengers and trace the leak.
