Corruption: Msians must come to their senses

LF Ng laments the state of governance in this country. He is right.

Malaysian citizens will come to their right senses by the next general election. We are in the 21st century and the least that the country needs are ministers that will not waste on taxpayers' money over a mere April Fool's prank .

Ministers must serve the country in a very open and constructive manner. Elected by the rakyat, and assigned by our prime minister, they must help take the country to greater heights instead of harping on April Fool's pranks and jokes. The country has much, much more serious issues to deal with.

Our beloved prime minister seems to be very silent on crucial current events and social issues that have been raised by the public. Bestowed with the mandate of the rakyat, we hope that his assurances given to us in the last election will be carried out without fear or favour.

He has the overwhelming support of the rakyat. Let him fear not the dirty tactics of tainted ministers for he has the support of the rakyat. He must do what he has to do to rid the country of the plague of corruption that is choking it.
