A pro-Umno portal has weighed in on the video depicting a motorcyclist blaming Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak for the summons he received from the Road Transport Department (RTD) for not possessing a valid road tax.

MyKMU.net said if it is indeed true the motorcyclist cannot afford the insurance for his motorcycle because the price had increased from RM100 to RM135, he should find other means to get the sum.

Among others, the portal said, he could borrow the money or take other initiatives such as cutting grass, tapping rubber or doing other part-time jobs.

“Perhaps because he failed to think in a rational manner or was enraged (at the time), therefore he had asked the prime minister to resign.

“What is most hilarious is that he asked the police to arrest Najib,” it added in the article, titled ‘Contoh Bentuk Pemikiran Hasil Propaganda Pembangkang (a mindset produced by opposition propaganda)’.

The article also stated that since the motorcyclist owned a smartphone which could record the video and upload it on Youtube, the latter might not be in extreme poverty.

“If the smartphone belonged to a friend, then perhaps his friend could have loaned him the RM35, right?” it added.

Therefore, the portal asked, what was the motorcyclist’s excuse for not renewing the insurance.

“Or is he just someone who is stupid, lazy, likes to point the finger at others for his own mistakes or he really does not possess a quality mindset.

“...this is the product created by those who spread opposition propaganda to the point that the people are influenced, and lack a rational mindset,” it said.

MyKMU also provided a link to a website with information on insurance coverage and stated that it is unlike what the motorcyclist described, unless if he was looking for better coverage.

The portal also apologised to the motorcyclist if its remarks offended him, but at the same time expressed disappointment that he had a “third-world mentality”.

In the video, uploaded on Wednesday, the man, vented his frustration against the prime minister, with JPJ officers standing in the background.
