The brouhaha over holding Penang Run a day after Deepavali continues with the organiser firing salvos at Gerakan for politicising the matter.

In a statement today, ActifeStyle Concept spokesperson Andrew Loh criticised Gerakan for politicising the event as he had apologised for organising the activity on Oct 30.

"I cannot understand why Gerakan continues to politicise the Penang Run 2016 and attack this event when they had kept silent on the Penang Run 2013 that was held on the very day of Thaipusam itself, " Loh said.
