Jamal should declare his assets too, says DAP MP
It is not wrong for Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos to rent a helicopter to photograph the bungalow of Ampang PKR Youth chief Adam Rosly as it is not a restricted area, said DAP's Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng.
In fact, he added, DAP had done about the same when it took a bird's eye photos of former Selangor menteri besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo's palatial home the last time.
However Lim argued that Jamal, who leads the anti-Bersih red-shirts, should be prepared to have his own wealth put under the microscope.
Or at least declare his assets before hand if he were gung-ho enough to invade the privacy of others just because he questions their wealth, said the MP.

Or at least declare his assets before hand if he were gung-ho enough to invade the privacy of others just because he questions their wealth, said the MP.
"Is he ready to show to the media his own bungalows, declare his assets, bank accounts and luxury cars?
"Does Jamal dare to share with the public his level of education, how he succeeded to amass his own wealth?
"If he is not willing to do so (by his own logic) we should report him to be investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (MACC)," said Lim in a statement.
The Segambut MP further argued that as a title-holder, Jamal should also declare how much taxes he has paid.
Indeed Lim urged Jamal to disclose how much he paid to rent the helicopter he took journalists and photographers in yesterday, adding that it is probably a waste of money as using a drone to get high resolution pictures is better than the helicopter show he put on.
Yesterday Jamal took several journalists and photographers on an aerial tour of Adam's bungalow in Ampang before taking them for a closer inspection of the property.
He cast aspersions on the source of Adam's wealth and said that he will report the matter to the Inland Revenue Board and the MACC for them to investigate if there were any dubious means involved and if the young leader paid his taxes.
