Another scion from the family of Malaysia's founding father the late Tunku Abdul Rahman has lambasted the anti-Bersih red-shirts for using his image in their campaign material.
"It is with real shame and sadness, that I notice the red-shirts wearing our beloved, founding father's icon on their shirts.
"Please always be mindful, that Tunku is a man of peace, and had always said that there is room, for every race in this country," grandson Tunku Muinuddin Putra said in a statement today.
The red-shirts, led by Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos, used a black and white silhouette of Tunku during his iconic "Merdeka" moment on their T-shirts.
