About a dozen people ambushed Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad outside the Parliament lobby as he alighted from his car this morning and hurled insults at the Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) communications director.

The confrontation then turned physical as some of them attempted to force their way through the lawmaker's security personnel.
