The Penang Structure Plan (PSP) 2020 will be on display beginning tomorrow, said Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

The plan will be displayed at Komtar, Town Hall at Padang Kota Lama and the Seberang Prai Municipal Council headquarters until Jan 31 next year.

Penangites will be able to provide feedback on site or through Penang Town and Country Plan's website.

Lim said that once public back is incorporated into the plan, the next display would be held in April next year.

On the delayed implementation and gazetting of the Penang Structure Plan 2020, a process which began in 2012, Lim said that this was necessary to incorporate several more plans, including the George Town and Penang Hill special area plans.

Both the George Town and Penang Hill special area plans were gazetted on Sept 1 this year.

"This is to ensure it is incorporated and aligned, congruent and convergent. Not divergent, otherwise it would be conflicting," Lim quipped.
