The Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organization (Mapim) together with UK-based Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) will be filing a suit against Myanmar at the International Criminal Court (ICC) for genocide and crimes against humanity, over the Rohingya crisis.

Mapim president Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid said the suit will be filed as soon as evidence, including photographs, of the atrocities are compiled into a report which meets the standards required by the ICC.
