Police have arrested the man alleged to be the mastermind in the murder of Miri PKR branch secretary Bill Kayong, who was shot at a traffic light junction in Lutong on June 21.

This was announced by inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar on his Twitter account tonight.

“Syabas JSJ @PDRMsia S'wak bjaya kesan dan tkap perancang utama pembunuhan Bill Kayong di KLIA sebentar tadi. #GoPDRMGo,” read his tweet.

In his tweet, Khalid congratulated the Sarawak police contingent Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for locating and nabbing the suspect at the KL International Airport (KLIA) earlier.
